Hosted at the Anacostia Watershed Society with Chesapeake Legal Alliance,
The meeting will start with Kathy Stecker of MDE giving an overview on Phase III WIPs.
Next we will have a panel discussion with local government officials who worked on the Phase II WIPs. State partners provided significant tools and resources as part of Maryland’s Phase II WIP that were intended to prepare and support local jurisdictions with WIP implementation. What were the outcomes? Which experiences provided the most (and the least) value? This panel will engage with local officials as we learn together how Phase II was experienced on the ground. We will then see how this experience might compare to the phase III process.
Finally after lunch we’ll have a discussion on how we as a coalition want to influence the phase III WIP process.
